The Sacred Place

by The Late Bloomers

PERFORMER

The Sacred Place is the first original production by The Late Bloomers, the theatre company I co-founded. This play discussed faith, starting from the religion to genuinely believe in the person you hold dear.

I portray a woman who lost her son and try to redeem her loss by blindly following a religious leader.

The Incinerated

by The Late Bloomers

PERFORMER

During the making of this production, there was a huge student protest happened in Taiwan.

Incinerated discussed humanity lying in past events, weaving two storylines, the Culture Revolution in China and the modern time Taiwan.

It was my first attempt to portray an aged woman who cared dearly for her grandson attending the protest.

Tales from the other side

by The Late Bloomers

PERFORMER (CHORUS)

Tales from the other side is a story of two brothers who have different purposes in life, one is destined to succeed while the other one is left to be discarded by society. In this production, I was a member of the chorus where we sing throughout the play and performed in butoh inspired movements.
